  • <i>Cyprinodon</i> sp. "durophage". Courting male in Crescent Pond, San Salvador Island, Bahamas. This species has an enlarged "nose" overhanging its upper jaw, a novelty among all Cyprinodontiformes, and specializes on hard-shelled prey.
